LITTLE WING GUY'S PROFILE

I may have little wings, but I have a big dick heart.

Hey there. I've been into game making since about 2008, but it wasn't until 2014 I was able to complete my first ever game! The game was started and finished in a single week for a contest. In one week I was able to do what I struggled with for 6 years. 6 WHOLE YEARS. HILARIOUS ISN'T IT.

Wh-oa, Skie Fortress, your game looks fantasic! People very rarely post VX screens, so here you go. VX had really grown on me lately.

Was way more popular, back in the day.

Welcome to RMN Cyber Dreamer! Hope to see you around, are you currently making anything?

The Last Bible: Script Reading Request

(Also if you can find Crammer and Spelling Errors that is very much appreciated.)

ROFL.

I'll do it if you like. I do think it's a bit weird reading a script of the end of the third chapter when we know nothing of the previous events.

@LWG
I'm using UMS, it's a script and I wanted to do kind of a comic book style hence the speech box.

I didn't write that very well, I Actually meant that the Train Windows are too low down, I wasn't talking about the speech box.

Wow you're really starting to go for this now. I love that title screen. A nit pick on the train screen, those windows and too low, it looks silly.

I think your mapping is getting better, they already look better than Echo Zone (I know it was a different maker but whatever).

Naming your characters

I try and make up original names, but it is tough. I'm guilty of going on to name generator sites. As long as the name fits with the genre, if it's set in the Fantasy World of Dragons and Mages, you don't want to have Dave and Steve.

Say someone put up a picture of Freddie Mercury. We could defeat that by putting up a picture of AIDS.

Play Something! Day Results and Discussion Topic [August 1st, 2008]

Review for ACT and Light . Sorry to post it here like this, the game has not been uploaded to the main site yet. I decided to review this instead of another recommended game because it's been totally neglected in the Game Discussion and Releases forum, and it looked quite cool. I have a finished a Review for Aurora Wing (which I will post later) and still have to finish my Dragon Fantasy 2 review.

A Ruff Gem

I call this game a ruff gem because the game actually could be really something, yet it's totally let down all the time with all the un-necessary things.

Storyline:
The storyline is a bit within the norm, you've seen the characters before etc. To be honest, I did not finish the game, so talking about it to much would not be very fair. Something I did like was, that you get a different partner depending on which difficulty you choose at the beginning. It would be nice if characters had more depth.

Game Play:
This game has some really cool ideas, for starters once you past the first town (and the game actually begins) the game gives you a 65 minute time limit to finish it in, which is a new and interesting idea, yet you sometimes feel like you can't explore or talk to NPCs as much as you normally would. Chests are sometimes hid quite cleverly and you don't always see them at first glance. There's three different difficulties and bonuses for completing them!

Battles have a modified DBS, which is so damn confusing at first, especially when you don't ever get a chance for a tutorial. Basically, you can't attack normally with weapons, you equip Spheres to characters to power them up instead. With each turn you have to power your characters up and use status effects before they can unleash their deadly attacks, you also get chances for double EXP and so on. Battles are fun, but a bit weird in a good way, sometimes you wish you could attack normally… that's if you can grasp it. Characters stats in this game also add a new feel to that game, you start off in single digits and work your way up.

The game really lets itself down with the slow walk speed, the extremely slow and boring conversations in which they mostly just stand there going on for too long about something that could have been said in half the time, text appears so slowly that you end up mashing the enter button in hope that something happens. Money is totally confusing at first because everything is so high in price…but oh wait no it's not, 15000 money doesn't equal to hardly anything. Do'h.

Graphics and Sounds:
The sounds in this game are one of it's best features. I'm no expert and there's many games I have not played, yet the music all sound like original MP3's (apart from one or two uses from the RTP) and stays completely away from Final Fantasy. The music fits extremely well with the atmosphere of each place you visit and are a joy to listen to.

Everything in this game is RTP. If you know me, you know I'm not really an RTP fan…at all. The maps aren't the greatest I've seen to be fair, some places look considerably better than others. However, some areas have some really unique ideas, for example the waterfall city, you can go in secret shallow waters and explore for treasure. On the whole, maps are average at best.

Overall:
This game is it's own worst enemy and needs some serious sorting out, yet none of it will be difficult to do. There's a good game crying to come out somewhere. I think some more puzzles need to be added too.

The Lone Warrior

Where did you get those sprites? They look like they're from Beloved Rapture (I don't know if they were original)

Also, you should have three screenshots, not two.
